The design created for the Children's Wish Poker Tournament in Calgary in 2019 and 2020 utilized the playing card motif and thoughtfully combined it with the Children's Wish colours. I chose a sharp contrasting black background and metallic gold to appeal to our audience of ambitious, largely male, participants. The creative signaled to the event's position as one of the largest poker tournaments in Alberta.
